Braddell Brothers LLP is looking for a Practice Trainee to join the Firm’s dispute resolution and international arbitration practice.

Job Description

As a Practice Trainee at our firm, you will be attached to a Partner of the firm who will guide and mentor you as your Supervising Solicitor. You will assist a team of associates with ongoing litigation and arbitration, employment, advisory and professional misconduct matters.

Our One-Year Traineeship Programme is designed to allow you to develop your skills as a lawyer and experience our firm's dynamic and forward-thinking culture. You will be exposed to work that is interesting, challenging, and will stretch you to discover your fullest potential.

You will be expected to attend court hearings with our lawyers, attend client meetings, engage in discussions on the law, as well as undertake research, drafting, and file management. Apart from technical skills, you will be guided on developing your soft skills, including your ability to build professional relationships with clients and peers in the legal industry. Requirement

Service of a practice training period is a requirement for admission as an advocate and solicitor. It is the period during which a qualified person is required to receive supervised training in relation to the practice of Singapore law.

The requirements relating to the practice training period are set out in Part IV of the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2011.
