The Judiciary - comprising the Supreme Court, State Courts and Family Justice Courts - is one of the three constitutional pillars of government in Singapore. SECRETARY

 

You will be expected to:

 

  • Provide administrative assistance and secretarial support;
  • Transcribe judgments, minutes, notes of evidence and correspondence from handwritten drafts;
  • Draft minutes and attend to correspondence;
  • Sit in court hearings and assist in the smooth conduct of trials and chamber hearings;
  • Manage the documentation process for court use including preparation of court documents;
  • Assist in any work-related logistical planning and arrangements and
  • Perform the full range of secretarial functions as well as any other duties assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

  • At least 5 years’ relevant working experience
  • IT Savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Must be able to write well
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised and meticulous
  • Proactive and able to work under pressure and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be discreet as well as be able to manage confidential information
  • Experience in using E-Litigation system will be an advantage

 

Note:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year probationary contract in the first instance.
