Associate / Senior Associate – Corporate

Trident Law Corporation, is seeking a talented Associate / Senior Associate to join our Corporate team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial legal matters, advising both domestic and international clients.

About the Role

As part of our team, you will  be involved in advising clients in a wide spectrum of general corporate law including but not limited to:

·         Corporate Structuring & Transactions: Advising on general corporate/commercial matters, M&A, and structuring investments.

·         Investment Funds & Venture Capital: Structuring, establishment, and registration of onshore funds.

·         Regulatory & Compliance: Advising on licensing, securities laws, financial regulations, and compliance matters.

·         Industry Focus:  Advising on business sectors in the information technology, AI, healthcare, life sciences, and sustainability areas.

·         Client Engagement: Act as a point of contact for clients, , opposing counsels, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

·         Handle transactions in areas such as funds, asset management, trust, private wealth, capital markets including venture capital, and M&A

·         Conduct legal due diligence and draft/review commercial agreements.

·         Advise on IPO processes, restructuring, and insolvency matters.

·         Work independently with clients while contributing to a collaborative legal team.

·         Maintain and nurture client relationships while developing business opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

·         NQ to 7 years’ PQE (prior in-house counsel or regulatory experience may also be considered).

·         Experience in corporate law, venture capital, financial regulations, or M&A preferred.

·         Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

·         Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing complex legal transactions.

·         Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
