Emerald Law LLC is a dynamic and progressive law firm committed to delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. We are inviting applications for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal to join our team, with a focus on Syariah and Family Law matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lawyers in handling Syariah Court and Family Justice Court matters, including divorce, custody, maintenance, probate, and related applications.
• Conduct legal and factual research, prepare case summaries, and draft court documents, affidavits, and correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, court staff, and other stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
• Manage case files, hearing bundles, and deadlines to ensure smooth progress of matters.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the legal team.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Law, Legal Studies, or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in family law and/or Syariah law practice will be an advantage.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken); proficiency in Malay will be a plus.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle clients with empathy and professionalism.
